Please join with us in prayer for Pastor Betancourt who is presently living in Cuba. Pastor Betancourt has a burden to return to America to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Enclosed is an excerpt from a Christian Attorney who has petitioned Attorney General Eric Holder to intervene in expediting "A TEMPORARY VISA" to Pastor Betancourt.

Pastor Betancourt has a Unique ministry and history of faithful service to Jesus Christ in Cuba. On 2 separate occasions years ago he visited the U.S. and ministered in many churches in California, Chicago and Florida. He was explicitly compliant with his visa stipulations each time. However, recently he was inexplicably and arbitrarily denied a temporary visa to the U.S. despite invitations from Pastors in Miami & Chicago. The visa application process for Cuban Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is tedious and expensive. To re-apply for this visa would be an arduous and unjust burden to the Pastor. We therefore respectfully ask that the decision to deny Pastor Luis C. Betancourt Merconchini be changed, and that he be granted a visa to the U.S. immediately. There are many churches in Florida, and elsewhere in the U.S. that want to benefit from his unique ministry, and guarantee that he will in no way be a burden to the U.S. Government, by providing for all of his needs during his visit.
Please pray that Pastor Betancourt will be granted without any further delay..
