  Welcome Beth! Glad to see another member from ID here. You are only our fourth member from your state. The more people you can invite from your sphere of influence the better. This enables us as a group to stay better informed to the needs of your state. This also means that a team of intercessors can be brought to bear with the insightful knowledge of the communities that surround you as well as the states in your region.

  We are also seeking leadership for your state ion the position of State Prayer Leader.

  Here are examples of what State Prayer Leaders do.

  State Prayer Leaders are encouraged to reach out to their Governor's office and other major leaders in their state in the hopes of creating a relationship to better intercede for that leader. The depth of this relationship is up to the leader and the State Prayer Leader and ultimately the desires of the Holy Spirit. See what the Lord had me doing as I explain in the how this ministry began later on this page.

  The Nuts & Bolts of it.
  State Prayer Leaders hold weekly one hour statewide prayer conference calls and where possible also participate in a one hour national prayer call weekly. As a State Prayer Leader you are encouraged to invite guest Prayer Leaders from the various Prayer Ministries across your state to guest lead during your statewide prayer call (Every joint has something to supply) for three of the four weeks each month. Each guest Prayer Leader is encouraged to invite those from their networks to participate in the call as well. This offers the cross pollination of prayer focuses and resources as well as confirmation for those when they hear from the Lord. On the fourth week you would lead inviting all those who participated in the previous weeks to join.

  Developing Roots

  Understand that the following is done over time and is accomplished by the Lord not you. Simply share the instruction given by God in His word of 1Tim 2:1-6 within your expanding sphere of influence and the following comes in His timing: Organizing a blanket of prayer in your state. Your conference call will accomplish much in this effort though State Prayer Leaders are also encouraged to raise up a team to help them in this effort. Your team would include State Regional Prayer leaders who can aid in the effort of developing County (Borough or Parish) Prayer leaders in your state. County Prayer Leaders are then encouraged to raise up City and Town Prayer leaders and so on. Each holds similar conference calls or small groups of prayer lifting up all those in authority. This may also be accomplished by coming along side existing networks and sharing and willing resources.

  Extras

  Nationally we are also very supportive of any Special Projects and programs developed by our State Prayer Leaders. That would include things like prayer gatherings or prayer walks or other special means of mobilizing prayer.

  Service

  This is about an 8 hour a week commitment for those not already involved in networking or prayer mobilization or leading others to pray. One to two of those hours are spent on prayer calls and the rest is time used networking with the body, preparing for a special outreach or prayer focus like the ones I mentioned above or however the Sprit moves YOU.
