The National Governors' Prayer Team is a cooperative effort of individuals, independent Christian ministries and businesses working together to intercede for and on behalf of all those in authority including the Governor in their state.

Read more…Thanks to everyone for the welcome. My prayer team is in place with room to grow. I also took over the Director of the Iowa Prayer Caucus at this time. We meet on Tuesdays at the capitol with 12 to 24 people in the capitol, meeting to pray. We are joined at times by some members of the legislative body. This limits my time on Tuesday's morning prayer as I am traveling at that time. I have been ask to be involved in the bible study at the capitol on Thursdays. I will tell you that God is moving.…

I am excited about your willingness to represent Iowa and the National Governor's prayer team! My name is jonathan and I am part of Washington State. Beginnings can be tough, I was fortunate because Washington was up and running with mega-participants. I have been on the sidelines for most of April but I am jumping in again. The Washington State call is after the National call. You are welcome to join our call to see what ours looks (feels like) and I would be happy to chat and / or join your call as you ramp up. On my team some of our members use our newsletter to run their own program for their church or community.
I have actually been asked to thin my report as it was upwards of 10 to 15 pages.
