The Alabama Governors Prayer Team is a cooperative effort of individuals, independent Christian ministries, and businesses praying and interceding for Alabama, the Governor, and the Governor's Office.
We are here to come together with the focus of praying for our Governor and "all those in positions of authority". [1 Timothy 2.2] Beside our weekly statewide prayer call, this forum gives us a place to communicate what you as a "watcher on the wall" are seeing and hearing. To sound the alarm for special prayer needs and calls. Also, to get to know and serve one another.
We claim the chapels, the places of worship that where once common in our state capitol and county buildings; and take back the land and reestablish our nation's rich Christian heritage!

Jeremiah 29:7
Seek the welfare [peace] of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare [peace] you will find your welfare [peace].

1 Timothy 2.1,2
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
1 Samuel 12.13-16
Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you.
If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.
Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
